Welcome to Skye Farm, a beautiful lifestyle property set across approximately 60 acres in the sought-after Byron Hinterland, just 10 minutes from Bangalow. Built in 1914 and held by just three owners in over 110 years, this character-filled farmhouse offers a rare combination of history, country charm and space. Surrounded by established gardens, a swimming pool, separate studio/workspace and 2,300 established macadamia trees, Skye Farm presents an opportunity to enjoy peaceful rural living with plenty of possibilities for the future. The farmhouse retains many of its original features, including timber floorboards, high ceilings and traditional detailing throughout. A generous timber deck sits at the front of the home, overlooking rows of macadamia trees and the surrounding countryside. Inside, the spacious living areas are filled with natural light, with original features reflecting the home’s rich history. The dining room features a combustion fireplace, while the adjoining kitchen has timber cabinetry, generous bench space and exposed brickwork. There are five bedrooms, one of which could also be used as a home office or study, along with a main bathroom and separate toilet. At the rear of the home, a covered outdoor entertaining area leads towards the saltwater swimming pool and established greenery. Nearby, a spacious separate studio/workspace overlooks the pool and grounds. Previously used as an office and workshop, this versatile air-conditioned space features a kitchenette, additional room, shower and toilet, all under the one roof. Ideal for a home office, creative studio or workshop, the space also offers potential for alternative uses such as guest accommodation, subject to relevant council approvals. The property also features a double garage with adjoining carport and toilet, along with a separate macadamia processing shed housing processing plant and equipment and three silos. For those requiring additional parking or storage, there are also two three-bay carports, generous parking areas and water tanks providing further practicality for country living. Across the property are 2,300 established macadamia trees of mixed varieties, currently operated as a commercial macadamia farm. For buyers seeking a different rural lifestyle, the property also offers the potential to explore partial or complete removal of the macadamia orchard, creating more open land for cattle grazing, horses or other agricultural pursuits, while potentially opening up further views across the beautiful Byron Hinterland. Any proposed clearing or change of use would be subject to relevant approvals and requirements. Whether you choose to continue the established macadamia operation, establish a hobby farm, keep horses or simply enjoy the space and privacy of country living, Skye Farm offers the opportunity to create a lifestyle that suits you. Combining the charm of a historic farmhouse with approximately 60 acres of land and the natural beauty of the Byron Hinterland, Skye Farm is conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from Bangalow’s shops and cafés, 25 minutes from Byron Bay’s beaches and 40 minutes from Ballina Airport.
