Nutrien Harcourts Yea is honoured to bring you this unique lifestyle retreat, located in the Highlands just 20 minutes from Yea Township and Seymour.
Wind down via a winding dirt road to a bright and sunny, fully self-sustained home in a clearing in the centre of the 155 acre (approx.) property, surrounded by native forest with a permanent flowing creek known as "Jacks Creek". Everything has been considered to live as close to a carbon neutral lifestyle with solar electricity, an abundance of water, bio waste system, seasonal vegetables and established orchard.
The home is designed as a passive solar home with deep verandas. Ceiling fans with summer and winter mode. A slow combustion fire to burn the abundant timber on the property. The main home has 2 huge bedrooms, a central bathroom and open plan kitchen, dining and living room that opens onto a large decked and undercover veranda.
There is a 3 bay machine shed with a studio and a large closed in workshop to one side and a small dairy, wood storage and a closed shed to the other.
The land is 25% cleared with softly sloping native pastures and fenced into 6 paddocks for livestock. Planted through the land is a mix of European and American trees that give a beautiful colour display each season and also create a natural fire break around the house paddock. The native forest wraps around the entire property with breathtaking views, granite rock formations and waterfalls making it ideal for lifestyle / hobby farm enthusiasts who love privacy, living the simple life, fishing, trail rides, hiking or just enjoying the beautiful sanctuary that it is.
Inspections are by appointment only. If you have any further queries or wish to book a private viewing, please do not hesitate to contact Kerryn Rishworth on 0412346169.
