Tucked away at the end of a secluded laneway in the heart of Windsor, 1 Budds Lane is not your typical townhouse, and that is precisely its magic!
One of those rare homes that simply has to be experienced, this unique three-storey solid-brick home is private, sun-filled and full of personality. Part urban sanctuary, part entertainer's dream, it's a home with a story, a sense of fun and an atmosphere all of its own.
Designed for living and entertaining, the home flows effortlessly between indoors and out. Sunlight fills the living spaces throughout the day, while the private terrace is made for long lunches, summer drinks and late-night dinners under the Melbourne sky.
Inside, original architectural character meets thoughtful modern updates, including a new kitchen, laundry, beautiful hardwood floors, fresh paint, heating, air conditioning and a new hot water system.
On the ground floor, a standout bedroom with serene ensuite and its own private, light-filled courtyard.
Upstairs, one of the home's great surprises awaits: beautiful city views and a private retreat above the rooftops, wonderfully removed from the energy of Windsor below.
And then there is the personality.
The home has a vibrant musical and artistic history, having been associated with musicians and creatives over the years, a fitting story for a property in one of Melbourne's most sort after inner-city neighbourhoods. With its distinctive architecture, 1 Budds Lane has always been a little different: social, eclectic, warm and effortlessly cool.
Outside your door, Windsor is at your fingertips. Walk to cafés, restaurants, pubs, boutiques and nearby parks, then return home to the quiet and privacy of your own hidden sanctuary.
Sexy, soulful and unmistakably Windsor, 1 Budds Lane is a home with personality, a place to entertain, retreat, soak up the sun and make it your own.
