Set on 2 hectares (5 acres), this property blends modern family comfort with extensive infrastructure for a complete acreage lifestyle.
The residence offers five bedrooms, two bathrooms and two laundries, one easily adaptable as a kitchenette. The modern kitchen features an Electrolux five-burner induction cooktop, Westinghouse double oven, Miele dishwasher and a walk-through pantry with sink, plus a plumbed tap above the fridge cavity. Living zones flow onto wide verandahs and a large outdoor entertaining area, with the master enjoying direct access to a hot-and-cold outdoor shower. Practical inclusions such as a 6kW solar system, two Solarhart hot water systems, four 5,000-gallon rainwater tanks (88,000L) and a Taylex septic (under three years old) support sustainable living.
A fully fenced food forest, equipped with sprinklers, offers a wide variety of trees including coconut palms, mulberries, guava, saba nut, pomegranate, bananas, lemon and more. The kitchen garden produces blueberries, asparagus, raspberries, strawberries, eggplants, capsicum, celery, garlic, clumping onions and herbs. Driveway plantings feature kei apple, lemongrass, cranberry hibiscus, mulberries, bush basil, elderberry, cassava, vanilla bean orchids, mango, Panama berry and guava. Around the big shed are Davidson plums, bananas, purple guava, pomegranates, nectarine, Burdekin plum, red cherry guava, chilli and stevia, with a mulberry and lemonicious tree at the rear of the house. The land also includes three fenced paddocks plus a large chook and quail pen.
Three dams provide security, including one with a swale to improve catchment. A firefighting pump on the middle dam supplies a ridge-top tank, delivering gravity-fed irrigation across gardens, paddocks, pens, sheds and the driveway. Combined with six 5,000-gallon rainwater tanks (132,000L in total) and multiple pumps, the system supports both productivity and sustainability.
The main shed includes a self-contained office, gas hot water (six months old), two 5,000-gallon tanks (44,000L), a private herb garden and an enclosed paved patio. Fully plumbed with power, gas hot water and a laundry sink, it is ideal for storage, workshop or business use. Further improvements include three lockable shed bays, six carport spaces and a solar-powered front gate.
