A 7-star energy rating, tank water, waffle slab construction, stunning European Spruce ceilings, low-maintenance flooring and a wood-burning fireplace create warmth, character and a wonderful sense of connection to the landscape. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area provides a beautiful central space to relax and entertain, complemented by two bedrooms, two bathrooms and split-system heating and cooling.
Enjoy relaxed afternoons on the merbau deck overlooking Stringers Creek, sharing good times with friends and embracing the simple pleasures of country living.
Surrounding the home is dedicated landscaping that blends nature with sophisticated design, where natural stonework, retaining walls and terraced gardens follow the contours of the land to create a series of spaces to explore and enjoy. Established greenery brings the beauty of the surrounding mountains right to your doorstep, while the elevated position captures views across the township and creates an enviable sense of privacy.
Adding another fascinating chapter to the property's story is the substantial 12m x 7m historic shed, which was used as a filming location for Ice Road: Vengeance, the action thriller starring Liam Neeson. Today, this impressive space offers enormous versatility for storage, workshop pursuits, collecting, display or a private museum-style concept, subject to any required approvals. Extensive water storage further adds to the property's practicality (House 10,000lt, Fire/garden 15,000Lt).
