Commanding an extraordinary position on the Yarra River, apartment 1115 is the newest luxury waterfront residence at 1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne, within the residential half of Australia’s first 1 Hotel. With 360-degree outlooks extending to Port Phillip Bay, the expansive interiors are designed for both relaxation and entertaining, framed by ever-changing city and river vistas. The building rises from the historic Goods Shed No.5, dismantled and rebuilt piece by piece by Riverlee on the last undeveloped stretch of riverfront in the city. It holds an island site at the edge of the CBD, with the calm of the water in front, the park beside and the full life of Melbourne just behind. Light pours through the open-plan layout, where comfort meets understated sophistication. Living and dining flow seamlessly to a custom kitchen and a separate cocktail bar, a setting that moves easily from family dinners to evenings with friends. Considered fittings and finishes reflect the distinctive 1 Hotel ethos, complemented by a forward-thinking, sustainable approach to the environment. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offer private retreat, led by a generous main suite with a walk-through dressing room, fitted vanity and double ensuite. A full study, precisely designed for the way we work today, includes an intimate lounge or meeting area. Four secure car spaces complete the home, with room for residents and guests alike. 1 Hotels has spent a decade quietly redefining what luxury means, and in Melbourne it has already been recognised for it – named among Australia’s leading city hotels at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific, awarded a Michelin Key for its design, service and hospitality, and a coveted Good Food Hat for the signature restaurant downstairs. For a resident, these are not distant accolades. It is the same care, extended to the homes every day. Because here, the home and the hotel are one. Two hundred staff, and an entire building composed around the way you want to live. With in-residence dining prepared to order, the pantry filled before you arrive, housekeeping and turndown service, a dedicated concierge on call, the valet waiting and direct access to the hotel’s wellness facilities, pool and spa. All of it a lift ride from your door.
