Metricon built my house in 2020. It is Metricon's 'Chelsea 33' design with a 'Stamford' facade (see attached photo). Their standard floor plan is 307.4 m2 (see attached diagram). My block is 640 m2 and the house has a wider garage (W:6.7 m x D:6 m = 40.2 m2).
Instead of the 'Leisure area' on the Metricon diagram, my house has an ensuite bathroom for Bedroom 3. That 'suite' has 900 mm wide doors, to suit an aged or disabled person, or a multi-generational family. The rest of the 'Leisure' area is a study alcove with two desks, suitable for a home office and/or homework station for students.
The house has ducted air-conditioning, Prowlerproof security doors, a 6.6kw solar system, magnetised screens on the sliding doors in the family/dining rooms and privacy awnings behind the outdoor room. The plantation shutters have a 20-year warranty. The sitting room has opaque cavity-slider doors to separate it from the hallway, so for a large family, this room may be suitable as a fifth bedroom. I also had a clear door installed to reduce noise and separate the 'guest wing' from the rest of the house and make the zoned air-conditioning run more cost-effectively.
