“Wombiana” is one of Thredbo’s signature properties, conveniently nestled in the heart of Thredbo Central village and yet at the end of a quiet cul de sac beside a small creek. This freestanding 2 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom lodge was completed in 1957 and is nicely distanced from neighbouring lodges, being separately titled on an approx. 617m2 lot. It is constructed from locally sourced solid granite stone and features a dramatic double height living area with vaulted ceiling flowing out to a wraparound hardwood deck and outstanding views of the mountains. The building was designed by renowned architect Peter Muller to emulate the bow of a ship emerging from the landscape. Wombiana has been faithfully maintained to respect the original, solid design whilst offering modern day comfort and convenience.
