A rare opportunity to purchase an early home built in the area on small acreage, in a rural setting among rolling hills. Situated on sealed road, fifteen minutes from Warragul. This house was built in the 1920's and is made from hardwood that was cut out at Hollora and delivered by bullrock dray. The hardwood weatherboards and frame have set like iron over the years and a new roof, re-stumping, re-wiring and painting have the house in excellent repair. Along with a large concrete tank, the 3.4 kW solar panels are excellent infrastructure.
Three good sized bedrooms, a study and large living room make for pleasant living with beautiful garden views from every room, including the bathroom (with its claw foot bath) and the separate toilet. The large, recently updated kitchen is the heart of the house, with its jotul cast-iron wood heater that beckons you to sit beside to watch the prolific native bird life outside. Verandas on two sides of the house allow for protection and outside enjoyment both summer and winter.
This suburb, large, old garden is made up of hundreds of daffodils, many camellias, rhododendron trees, azaleas, dahlias, roses and many other native and exotic plants. There are also many large, rare trees and tree ferns, as well as fruit trees.
