Steeped in history and rich with character, this extraordinary 162-year-old church has been beautifully transformed into a home unlike any other.
Originally a place of quiet reflection, the building now offers a remarkable combination of heritage charm, contemporary comfort and breathtaking scale. At its centre you have a soaring nine-metre vaulted ceiling rises above expansive open-plan living, while original timber floorboards and graceful arched windows preserve the soul and story of the building.
Natural light moves beautifully through the space, highlighting the warmth of the timber, the drama of the architecture and the considered simplicity of its modern interiors. A wood fireplace adds an inviting sense of intimacy, creating a home that feels every bit as comfortable as it is impressive.
The contemporary kitchen is sleek and beautifully appointed, with quality appliances, generous bench space and excellent storage. The luxurious bathroom continues the thoughtful blend of old and new, featuring heated floors, modern fittings and a freestanding bath.
Outside, the magic continues. Set on more than 1,000sqm, established gardens and manicured lawns frame peaceful rural outlooks across paddocks and vineyards. A covered patio draped in flowering wisteria creates a beautiful setting for long lunches, entertaining or simply taking in the serenity of the surrounds.
Conveniently positioned just 100 metres from the local tennis courts, showground and village shops, while Goulburn is approximately 30 minutes away and Canberra and Bowral are within easy reach, it offers the tranquillity of a rural setting without sacrificing everyday convenience.
