By using repurposed building materials including natural Mt Gambier limestone blocks, timber beams, barn doors and rescued windows you have heaps of reasons to feel good about living here including conservation of building resources, sharing nine hectares of Australian bushland with our flora and fauna and having the room to live the life you’ve always dreamed of.
The hub of the home is the well-equipped open kitchen and dining area adjoining the family room with combustion heater and the large lounge flooded with natural light and kept comfortable year round with an open fire and a powerful reverse cycle split system air conditioner. Contrasting in styles the downstairs bathroom is old school with shower over a magnificent claw and ball foot bath while upstairs boasts a glass and tile contemporary style.
On the first floor all three bedrooms are doubles with built-in robes and the largest opens to an elevated deck with a second external staircase. Also on this level is a private office/study well away from the distractions of the living areas.
Enjoying the outdoors is a breeze with a protected and secluded pergola with built-in swim spa, full size tennis court and on property bush walking trails.
Almost any level of self-sufficiency is achievable here with a dam, town water, vegetable plots, fruit trees, established gardens, solar power, mains power, store shed, chicken run, firewood and a very appealing eleven by eight metre limestone garage and workshop on slab with power and a five by six metre mezzanine. An affordable opportunity to change your life.
