Built in 1964, the first and only home for these vendors, who married and moved in, in 1965. Later that year they welcomed the first of two daughters. The second daughter was welcomed 3 years later. Growing up in the 70’s, parties were hosted in the garage, food set up on table tennis table and packed away afterwards to allow the dancing to begin.
Throughout summer, every kid in the neighbourhood spent their afternoon in the backyard for table &/or totem tennis, play in the old pool, followed by round robin, ensuring endless amounts of fun!
The dad was a storeman at Myer – a hardworking provider for his family. The mum, a stay-at-home mother, as were the times. The home holds many memories, full of laughter through all the good old days.
Having served this family well, the time is now for another family to make their own moments and memories.
