Presenting buyers with an incredibly rare and exciting opportunity to become the next custodians of one of the suburb’s grandest residences. ‘Redleaf’ (c1906) graces an extravagant 1,745sqm of prized Sandringham land complete with tennis court and pool.
Commanding attention from its prominent position high on Southey Street just metres to the bay, the home’s striking exterior opens to beautiful interiors that have been sympathetically enhanced for modern family living. Enriched by warm original floors and soaring timber ceilings, a wide reception hall provides the perfect welcome while the formal dining room with an ornate fireplace, decorative ceiling and pretty bay window with seating is primed for the grandest of dinner parties. The formal sitting room is equally as impressive, looking out across the deep verandah to the floodlit tennis court beyond.
Enjoy casual meals in the large entertainers kitchen where premium Miele appliances and copious amounts of storage are among the standout features. Further on, an additional lounge room with built-in cabinetry and window seating is the ideal space for family relaxation and a separate study will please those working from home.
Four king-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms can be found across the home’s two levels, including the upstairs master domain complete with separate dressing room, bathroom, sitting room and balconies with far-reaching views.
Hydronic heating is among the practicalities and the home also features an alarm, large laundry, guest powder room, built-in BBQ and double garage.
Metres to the village and station, the home is also within footsteps of the beach, parks/reserves and Firbank Grammar (Sandringham campus).
