An award-winning cutting-edge design by Andrew Maynard Architects links classic Victorian proportions to sophisticated contemporary spaces in this three bedroom plus study Terrace, one of a row tucked quietly behind Bridge Road.
Signature classical elements such as high ceilings, OFPs, an arched entry hall and elegant lace worked verandah remain in a series of original rooms that give this remarkable home context and a sense of irresistible refinement.
At the rear, clever open plan living and dining areas seamlessly unfold to a fabulous courtyard forming an indoor/outdoor entertaining connection the home’s early Victorian builders could never have dreamt of.
Beyond a high fenced entry courtyard, the arched entry hall connects a front living room/fourth bedroom featuring built in bureau storage and OFP to open living and dining areas that, together with a steel finished Miele kitchen and dining/breakfast bar, step out to the perfectly private ivy clad courtyard with built in BBQ.
Above, two oversized bedrooms with OFPs, the main with terrace access and BIR, a third bedroom with BIRs and a fitted study share a luxurious apaiser appointed bathroom with a freestanding bath.
Includes ground floor powder room, hydronic heating, split cooling, ceiling fans, solar panels, timber floors and plantation shutters.
Enjoy an exceptional inner-city lifestyle in this prized pocket just a short stroll from Bridge Road shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants, trams, trains, Citizens Park, Richmond Traders Shopping Centre, Gleadell Street Market, the Epworth and East Melbourne Hospital precinct, Richmond High, Richmond West Primary and zoned Melbourne Girls College.
