Beyond a discreet frontage in a cul-de-sac location lies an extravagant executive home waiting for you. Located within 50 metres of the renowned Ithaca Creek State School and in the heart of Red Hill, this property is ideal for families wanting the best of Brisbane lifestyle. Entering through a secure front-gate and down a stone-façade portico, you will enter a private and luxurious home. Cool dark timber floors guide you into the expansive, open-plan living and dining area – all bathed in natural light. The soft, neutral palette complements stylish features such as the welcoming fireplace and coffered ceilings. With air-conditioning to keep cool throughout the year, there is plenty of space for the whole family to relax, with a large dining-area ideal for stylish and formal dinners. The gourmet kitchen area offers sleek stone benchtops, an array of excellent storage space, and the fabulous breakfast bar perfect for relaxed family meals. A high-quality bank of appliances - double-oven, double-fridge, induction cooktop and double-drawer dishwasher – ensure any food-lover will be delighted with this kitchen. Beyond this is a huge Butler’s Pantry room, offering further kitchen storage space, additional fridge nook, and a sizeable wine rack. Plus there’s a laundry room and powder-room with access to the rear of the house, while further on is another room providing additional storage. Heading upstairs, there is a mezzanine level given over entirely to a luxurious Parent’s Retreat. The big bedroom has timber flooring underfoot, air-conditioning and ceiling-fan for perfect temperature control, a capacious walk-in-robe for all your designer outfits, and a chic en-suite replete with full bathtub, double-head shower unit, toilet, and a sleek double vanity. From the bedroom French doors lead onto a cute, private courtyard ideal for a relaxing early morning coffee. Moving up to the second level of the home (which is fully carpeted), bedrooms two, three and four are all of a good size and each offer air-conditioning, ceiling-fans and large built-in wardrobes. Bedroom five is a beautiful guest room again featuring air-conditioning, a built-in wardrobe, lots of natural light and its own en-suite bathroom. The second level of the house includes a lounge-room with wall-mounted TV plus air-conditioning – this makes an ideal teenage retreat, offering separation of space that families sometimes need. A smaller room has been neatly designed as a home office, complete with fitted desktop and air-conditioning. The large family bathroom has a full-size bathtub, separate shower unit, and double vanity with stone top, and there is also a separate powder-room and large linen cupboard on the upper level. The exterior of the house boasts a similar attention to quality as the interior. Through bi-fold doors from the ground-floor lounge is an extravagant covered deck with a stone feature-wall, and there is a useful built-in buffet area with gas connection for a BBQ. The deck is easily big enough to host alfresco dinners and barbeques, while offering a delightful view over the sparkling in-ground swimming pool and easy-maintenance lawn. The house offers plenty of parking and storage space, with a secure double-garage including storage shelves. In the garage is a “SolarEdge” solar battery that is connected to the big 12kw solar panel system, which will have your power bills plummeting. 23 Claremont Street falls within the Ithaca Creek State School catchment, and there are a number of excellent day-care centres and private schools nearby.
