Commanding pride of place within The Vintage – the Hunter Valley’s premier food, sport and lifestyle hub – this timeless residence is surrounded by world-class wineries, acclaimed restaurants, luxury hotels, spas and iconic concert venues. Finished to a standard rarely found and immaculately presented throughout, it is just two hours from Sydney’s CBD and one hour from the sandy beaches of Newcastle.
Set across three levels, the home makes a bold architectural statement with striking sandstone pillars and a dramatic wide entry door. From an impressive entry gallery, you can see expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass, a central wall of magnificent Sydney sandstone, and rich Western Australian Jarrah floors combined with bespoke Sapele cabinetry. An elegant open library with custom joinery provides the perfect setting for quiet retreat, seamlessly balancing warmth and refinement
Under soaring ceilings, the living spaces centre around a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge, where walls of glass frame the outdoors and draw in the beauty of autumn leaves and morning mist. In the master bedroom, a gas log fire adds both comfort and atmosphere.
A stainless-steel chef’s kitchen fitted with Bosch appliances and an 800-bottle climate-controlled wine cellar set the stage for sophisticated entertaining. Living and dining areas open to expansive terraces and merge with a sculptural, heated infinity-edge concrete pool that hugs the living room, dissolving the boundaries between indoors and out.
The suite-style main bedroom opens to a private terrace with views over the signature 8th hole. Its marble ensuite, featuring an onsen-style bath overlooking a Japanese garden, is complemented by extensive custom robes. Under-floor heating ensures the room remains wonderfully comfortable through the winter months.
Two additional bedrooms share a designer ensuite, enjoy abundant natural light and private decks, and one includes a Murphy bed allowing flexible daytime use. A separate powder room adds convenience.
Designed and built by the current owner, this home has provenance and authenticity rarely found. Owned from new by global executives residing in the USA, it has been very lightly lived in, leaving it in immaculate condition today.
As a resident of The Vintage, at your fingertips is the Greg Norman–designed championship golf course, acclaimed restaurants, a luxury hotel, day spa, tennis courts, gym, clubhouse and regular lifestyle events – all within a vibrant, private and secure gated community.
