Cheap and cheerful… This character laden stone church lies in the town of Paruna which is located only 30 km or 20 minutes out from the Loxton CBD. Paruna is a great little town with an amazing general store and Browns well tavern boasting a fabulous menu sourced from locally produced foods.
This Mexican style Church was built in 1934 and has certainly stood the test of time. It has nurtured and housed both parishioners and the CWA for many years. Now it's ready for the right person to bring it back and transform it into its former glory.
When you arrive at the gates and look at this old stone character building standing proud in front of you, it won't take long before you fall in love with its endless potential.
The Church is all open plan, it has a reverse cycle air conditioner with timber floors, lofty high ceilings with long hanging lights and ceiling fans, and large arch style smoky glass windows. Kitchen facilities are aside in the main room area, and these include an electric stove, stainless sink, under bench cabinet and storage shelves.
Outside is the rustic bathroom that has a shower over a bath, a concrete floor with gas hot water system.
Make no mistake about this project, it's longing for a good clean up, but is totally affordable with never ending possibilities and boundless potential.
