72 Aldebaran Road OCEAN GROVE VIC

It’s not often you find a single level home boasting the best views Ocean Grove has to offer. Unadulterated ocean vistas expanding from Point Lonsdale to Barwon Heads surround the entire living area, evident from the first step into 72 Aldebaran. It remains completely original to its era, retaining the high quality in which it was built. A simple makeover is all that would be required to create a modern, chic beach house. Timber detailing comprising polished timber floors through bedrooms and living areas combine with slate tiling to create an earthy rustic interior. Exposed timber beams adorn high vaulted ceilings, while full height windows and glass sliding doors encase the entire width of the home to capture views and allow the large deck to function as an extension of the living space. Kitchen cabinetry of solid timber provides ample storage and preparation space and flows seamlessly through to dining and living. A central hallway leads to three bedrooms and wet areas. Master bedroom captures ample natural light in its northerly aspect and includes split system along with en suite and walk in robe. Two further bedrooms include large built in robes. A central bathroom features a timber vanity unit and slate flooring. Temperature control units have been installed both here and in the kitchen to ensure safety where hot water is concerned. A separate toilet lies adjacent to an enormous laundry at the rear of the home along with access to the outdoors. Central gas heating provides instant warmth throughout while a wood fired heater, air conditioning, and ceiling fan complete climate control in the open living zone. The carport is located towards the rear of the block enabling easy access to the home only four steps above. A true quality home, providing enormous potential to modernize.
