5 Driftwood Street

Set within one of old Ocean Grove’s most atmospheric pockets, this exceptional home is immediately defined by its setting. Mature trees filter the light, soften every outlook and create a rare sense of privacy close to Blue Waters Lake, the Barwon River and surrounding parklands. Designed to follow the fall of the land, split level form balances scale, function and a strong connection to the landscape. Beautiful hardwood floors carry through the expansive upper living and dining zone, where skylights draw daylight deep into the interior and broad windows frame the greenery beyond. Stone surfaces, shaker style cabinetry, quality appliances and a generous island give the kitchen a refined finish and a natural connection to the living space. Three bedrooms sit on one level, including a serene main suite, while two beautifully finished bathrooms feature floating vanities, refined tiling and soft LED illumination. Downstairs takes on a more relaxed character, with polished concrete floors, a gas log fire and full height glazing drawing the trees into the second living area. Doors open to a broad entertaining deck with an integrated barbecue and drinks fridge, creating an inviting setting for long lunches and evenings outdoors. A dedicated study adds flexibility for working from home, while ducted heating & cooling, ceiling fans, excellent storage, a fitted laundry, carport and garden shed support easy living. Beyond the deck, established native planting, timber edged terraces and pathways descend to a secluded firepit. The garden feels immersive and established, offering children room to explore and adults somewhere genuinely peaceful to retreat. Equally compelling as a permanent family home or a refined coastal escape, the property sits close to Groove Cafe and Ocean Grove Golf Club, with the town centre and beach also within easy reach. - Wake to treetop calm in a private old Ocean Grove pocket - Let family life spread easily across two distinct levels - Beautifully appointed kitchen for cooking and conversation - Retreat to fireside comfort when the weather turns - Entertain above the garden with everything close at hand - End the day beneath the trees around your own firepit
