Don’t miss out on this centrally located and convenient property that provides many different opportunities! 300 metre walking distance of the centre of Village of Nimbin with its boutique shopping and café culture, Number One is known for its unique land-shape which gives the lovely old Art Deco home a commanding position overlooking the park yet with total privacy from neighbours.
For investors, this property presents a strong rental opportunity on a substantial 765m² block. The slightly wedge-shaped allotment has the home positioned toward the narrower end, leaving a large, practical backyard. The flat rear yard enjoys dual street access from Thorburn Street and Sibley Street, with two vehicle-entry gates providing excellent accessibility. Fully fenced and bordered by mature trees and established side gardens, it offers a secure and spacious area ideal for children and pets, with plenty of room for future potential.
For the home owner this is a perfectly positioned 3 bedroom 2 bathroom dwelling built in the 1930’s. Although not an ornate example of its era, there are many original features including hardwood timber floors and high ceilings, original casement windows, and ‘skirt’ boarding with modest wrought iron work on the front verandah. There is a basic but functional open plan kitchen/dining/living area, two larger bedrooms and a sleepout/3rd bedroom with a functional enclosed verandah space.
The bones of this home are good, and with a little TLC and a designer touch could be one of the gems of the village. It's priced to sell so don't delay!
