5-7 Hillcrest Avenue, Mount Wilson

Set across approximately 10 acres of extraordinary, established gardens, 'New Bywood' is a landmark country estate of rare scale and distinction, positioned within the exclusive enclave of Mount Wilson-just 1.5 hours from Sydney's CBD. Commanding in both presence and privacy, this is one of the region's most significant holdings, combining architectural character with an exceptional array of lifestyle amenities. Designed with a timeless European sensibility, the residence unfolds through a series of elegant formal and informal living spaces, each oriented to capture tranquil garden outlooks or sweeping views across the estate. A grand marble staircase leads to four substantial bedroom suites, all with ensuites, including a magnificent master retreat with dual dressing rooms, twin ensuites and a private secondary study. The home is defined by its slate-gabled roofline, soaring ceilings, parquetry floors and tall French doors, while a sweeping driveway creates an impressive arrival. Beyond the residence, the grounds offer a truly immersive garden experience-rolling lawns, mature arbours, flowering borders and stone terraces, all set within one of NSW's most celebrated botanical environments. Positioned on a quiet no-through lane and set behind established Copper Beech hedging and an avenue of Dogwood trees, the estate offers complete seclusion in one of the state's most tightly held locations.
