A labour of love for almost 30 years, the lush and peaceful gardens surrounding this striking and spacious Hawthorn-brick home have matured to form a delightful series of meandering outdoor rooms where you can relax and entertain and be embraced by nature's bounty.
Set on ¾ acre (approx) and finished to the highest standards, this warm and ambient 4 bedroom family home successfully combines quality, character and absolute comfort while delivering 29sq (approx) of family living.
Under soaring ceilings and anchored by the brilliant warmth of red ironwood and sealed slate flooring, the home features a sunken lounge with open fireplace, separate family room, formal dining and a loft-style study with lovely views across the garden.
A country-style kitchen with quality stainless steel appliances and Daniel Robertson tiled splashbacks forms the heart of the home and the adjacent family meals area flows out to a sunny paved patio, while a classic solid fuel Coalbrookdale Stove from England provides hydronic heating and hot water to the home, supported by gas ducted heating and solar panels for year-round comfort.
Under a high raked ceiling with picture windows to invite the outdoors in, the master bedroom has a walk-in robe and ensuite, while three additional bedrooms with built-in robes are well served by a family bathroom and powder room.
Additional features include 6sq of under house storage with great potential as a cellar, extensive rainwater storage, ducted vacuum, sealed driveway and up to five-car accommodation, an inground pool needing completion.
