Ideally located for a walk-everywhere lifestyle, this contemporary three-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome was built in 2012 by the renowned peninsula-based team of Baywater Homes. Tucked away on a quiet, tree-lined lane that evokes the feeling of a European hamlet, it is a six-minute stroll (flat surface) to Mornington Village and an eight-minute walk (also flat surface) to Fisherman’s Beach, one of the best swimming spots on Port Phillip Bay.
Wake to the sounds of doves cooing and sleep in the peace of this unusually quiet location, despite its close proximity to the vibrant town. Light-filled with soaring ceilings, the home was impeccably refreshed in late 2024. Works included lightened and refinished Tasmanian Oak floors throughout the lower level, New Zealand wool carpeting throughout the upper level, a complete interior repaint, new LED subtle ceiling downlights throughout (most with dimmer switches), and the installation of hanging Art Deco glass pendant lights in the kitchen.
Upon entering the home through the wide entryway hall, you’ll emerge into an expansive open-plan living room and kitchen area that easily accommodates any furnishing or design layout and overlooks a private courtyard, fenced on all sides and sheltered by three mature ornamental pear trees. The stone-topped hostess kitchen features high-quality appliances, gas cooktop, dishwasher, walk-in pantry, and an adjacent laundry room with storage and broom closet.
Upstairs, the main bedroom suite has a dramatically high ceiling, a walk-in robe, and a twin-vanity ensuite. Two additional bedrooms sit on either side of a family bathroom that has a shower and large tub, while a second lounge/TV area provides extra shared living space upstairs. The home is equipped with ducted heating, plus split-system heating and air conditioning on both levels for zoned temperature control.
The double garage includes a generous built-in storage cupboard with shelving, plus additional shelving on the opposite side
Included in the sale are nearly all major appliances--refrigerator, washer, and dryer—each purchased in January 2025 and still under warranty.
This elegant, low-maintenance townhome is perfectly positioned less than half a kilometer to Mornington’s vibrant Main Street precinct, with easy access to daily bay walks, an array of cafes and restaurants, boutique shopping, medical facilities, premier golfing, and the enchanting Port Phillip foreshore. This home is a joy to inhabit, and it is move-in ready.
