Step up, look back in time and take a view to the future! Rising above it all in a landmark row of exceptional mid-century homes, designed and built to justify their highpoint position, this cream brick beauty is an excellent example of its time… in elevated approx 638sqm grounds.
Find inspiration in this grandly-scaled three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom floorplan of over-sized bedrooms, immense lounge and dining rooms, and a full-width sunroom opening to fruitful tiered rear garden. Then add in the aspirational appeal of retro detail including random-stone features at every turn (inside and out), a glamorous mirrored bar (worthy of a ‘Mad Men’ episode), and hardwood floors (already unveiled to show off their potential). With well-positioned kitchen-meals and separate-facility bathroom areas, there are bones for a spectacular renovation here!
But here’s no hurry to commence too quickly…already updated with stainless-steel appliances, ducted heating and cooling, and roller shutters, this comfortable home with double garage is perfect to make-do until it’s time to makeover! Serviced by excellent state and independent schools, with the bus to stations and shopping at the end of the street, and the best of Bayside living straight down South Rd, this is the highpoint of retro reno potential!
