Live the dream with the best of mid-century design, today's designer renovation and one of Melbourne's most future-forward locations. Built in the 1950s as a grand family Dream Home on a big sunny corner, this classic three bedroom and home-office, two bathroom brick-veneer beauty is a superior example of its time...respectfully renovated as today’s family home of a lifetime.
Wrapped by wide iron-balustraded veranda, this substantial home unfolds in grand style with vast living beyond two sets of pressed-glass doors, dining alongside a state-of-the-art European appliance kitchen (with dual Electrolux ovens and premium Bosch Series 6 dishwasher) with a vast 3m dining bench, and a brilliant sunroom plus a work-at home-office both facing north to the garden.
Starring professionally-styled bathrooms (a luxe fully-tiled ensuite with moulded wall-hung vanity, main with freestanding bath), this centrally heated and cooled home combines the best of yesterday and today with a mix of terrazzo, brand new carpet and solid hardwood floors (some newly-polished with the latest water-based matte finish), and a gasfire added to the retro strata-stone mantle. New designer finishes have a mid-century edge too; with ‘dot’ handles for the custom master-robes, a designer drying-room/laundry, and airy plantation-shutters plus classic external roller-shutters.
Even the outdoors combine stylish living and yesterday's Dream Home style with a gas-plumbed and woodfire combination barbecue, handy sub-floor storage, and a generous double auto-garage in the big backyard... plus a second crossover to a secret amenity area with an additional carspace, 10,000L water-tank, and a veggie garden big enough to feed the neighbourhood!
Central to Moorabbin’s fastest developing locale, this Dream Home has the location you’ve dreamt of; a minute to Southland with the hospitality, childcare and wellness facilities of Morris Moor at the end of the street.
