Set across 13.01 hectares, this private rural holding offers a practical recreational escape a little over an hour from Hobart. The property comprises a mixture of native bush and approximately 3.6 hectares of relatively flat native pasture and open ground, providing useful space for camping, light grazing, recreation or the establishment of an off-grid retreat, subject to relevant approvals. A small dam provides additional water storage and adds to the property's practical appeal. The balance of the holding is predominantly native bush with an established supply of firewood suitable for personal use, with potential for commercial harvesting subject to an approved Forest Practices Plan. Surrounded by pine and eucalypt plantation, the property enjoys a genuine sense of privacy and seclusion. The wider area supports a range of Tasmanian game and wildlife, including rufous and Bennett's wallaby, Australian wood duck, rabbits and fallow deer, making the property particularly well suited to those seeking a private base for camping, hunting, shooting and other recreational pursuits. Despite its secluded setting, the property receives 4G and 5G mobile reception on the Telstra network, allowing for connectivity while on the property. For buyers looking for a manageable bush holding with open ground, water, timber and good separation from neighbours, Lot 1 Pitts Road offers a versatile property within comfortable reach of Hobart.
