1 The Avenue, MONTROSE

There’s a particular kind of quiet in this foothills pocket. Children pedal past on bikes, neighbours still wave, the Dandenongs rise beyond the treetops and, every so often, a kangaroo wanders into view from the reserve next door. Tucked deep into the bowl of a peaceful no-through road, with The Avenue Reserve and playground as your neighbour on one side, this much-loved Montrose home feels private, settled and wonderfully removed from the rush.
