This remarkable residence, only 1 of 5, has undergone a stunning transformation by renowned Architect Peddle Thorp, evolving from its humble chapel beginnings into a domain of contemporary design with a New York loft-inspired setting. With its impeccable presentation and prime location just metres from the beach, Albert Park Lake and Canterbury Road trams, this unique two-bedroom, two-bathroom home delivers exceptional living in the heart of one of Melbourne's most sought-after suburbs.
Secure and discreet, the home's entrance via Langridge Street reveals a beautiful combination of polished timber floors, soaring high ceilings and stained glass, reflecting the distinctive character of the conversion. Superb open-plan living and dining areas benefit from the scale created by a mezzanine first floor, complemented by a well-appointed marble-bench kitchen with a European laundry and ample cupboard space.
Ascend a spiral staircase to the two inviting bedrooms, conveying modern aesthetics through marble ensuites, new carpet and mirrored built-in robes. Boasting the advantages of the building's exposed trusses, unique raked ceilings, double lock up garage and the cosy warmth of electric heating, this property presents an excellent opportunity for investment or a fresh start in a picturesque and lively beachside locale.
