There are not many if any houses available in locations like this, for prices this low.
Proximity to Metung Hot Springs and Lake King and distant views across the reserve to Lake King make this a great opportunity to get into the right spot for a an amazing price.
Set on a large flat block of 1172m2 with three bedrooms and one bathroom, and separate toilet.
The large park to the front is reserve, set aside from development by the council.
There are limited views to Lake King through the reserve.
The nature walks through gullies and along the lake in this estate are second to none in East Gippsland, with echidnas, Swamp wallabies, white bellied sea eagles, wedge tailed eagles, friendly magpies, wombats, rosellas, lorikeets, king parrots, sulphur crested cockatoos, black cockatoos, galahs, all amongst your neighbours.
Metung Hot Springs is also just a short walk away and with four stages yet to be completed but works well underway, Air BnB opportunities will definitely be an option for any savvy owner.
The small courtyard to the east has a cool rustic vibe and is a great place to sit around a fire and entertain.
There is plenty of room on this block to build a large garage or granny flat.
Many of the homes in this estate were built on consolidations of 2 lots or more, as was this.
For that reason the house was set to one side, to allow the possibility of future subdivision.
The current owner will remove all items in the yard prior to handover.
Polished timber floor throughout, tiled bathroom and toilet in probably need of an update.
But at this price, and with no properties between you and the lake 150 metres away, it's more than worth it.
