Welcome to 'Billy Creek Farm' - a reimagined miner's cottage that's equal parts storybook charm and modern country luxury.
Privately positioned in one of Merrijig's most tightly held pockets, this 18.7-acre property unfolds like a secret worth discovering-offering dual access via Buttercup Road and Gonzaga Lane. Even before you arrive at the gate, there's magic in the air. Follow the tree-lined drive and arrive at a home that's anything but ordinary.
Step inside and you're met with a bold yet comforting design. Vaulted ceilings soar above, while commercial-grade double-glazed windows frame postcard views of Mt Buller, Timbertop, and towering gums. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence is an inspired blend of contemporary finishes and timeless warmth-anchored by a designer kitchen ready for hearty feasts or fireside wine nights.
As the seasons shift, so does the soul of the home. In winter, a Euro fireplace warms every corner; in summer, evenings spill outdoors-to the firepit under a sky full of stars or the sheltered BBQ terrace for effortless alfresco dining.
Beyond the home, Billy Creek Farm offers a lifestyle as rich as the landscape. Fertile creek flats invite equestrian or agricultural pursuits, while a massive ornamental dam (complete with jetty) provides a peaceful focal point. A 4-car collector's shed is the dream setup for tradies, tinkerers or adventure-lovers with toys to store.
With two meandering creeks, paddocks for horses or bikes, and panoramic alpine views-this is more than just a weekend getaway. It's a lifestyle legacy.
