22 Adelaide Street, MAYLANDS SA 5069

Opportunities to join the dress circle in one of Adelaide's most exclusive and tightly held Suburbs do not come around often and when they do they don't last long! Enjoy the convenience of being located within 5km of the City and only moments from an array of restaurants, bars, shopping & transport facilities along Magill Road & The Parade. The circa 1890 symmetrical, sand stone cottage maintains many of the original character features but is now showing its age & needs repair. A buyer with foresight could return the home to its former glory and reap the benefits. With plenty of rear yard space available an extension is a real possibility or you might choose to clear the lot and start from scratch, as the property is not heritage listed. The home has generous proportions throughout with original floorboards and high ceilings. All the spacious bedrooms have fireplaces with a combustion heater installed in the lounge. A formal dining room off the kitchen provides plenty of space for entertaining. The fully functioning kitchen comes complete with gas oven / cooktop & dishwasher. The bathroom has been touched up and includes a full size bath. Additional features include study area, laundry, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, garden shed, & underground cellar. The home has all the facilities required to be occupied or tenanted while future remodelling, renovating or redeveloping plans are made but once complete you will be happy to know that several of your neighbour's homes have sold for over a million dollars.
