A captivating illustration of natural materiality and breathtaking expanse, this just completed architectural masterpiece is a balance of expression and restraint in its interpretation of modern living. Designed to embrace warm, raw textures and refined craftsmanship, it stands as a natural continuation of the landscape, framed by mature pinot vines and the glistening backdrop of Bass Strait.
A grand porte-cochère, cobblestone paving and gently curved walls shape the arrival, where a pavilion-style configuration unfolds across a single level design, with soaring skylights and magnificent glazing inviting dynamic light and coastal breezes.
The culinary space is an exhibition of precision, featuring custom-stained European oak cabinetry, cashmere travertine, and a full suite of premium integrated ASKO appliances. An over sized butler’s pantry with a Vintec wine cabinet promises sophisticated entertaining, while a Stûv fireplace and soft lighting in the living area mirror the home’s relaxed, earthy ambience.
A north-eastern courtyard imbues a timeless Mediterranean sensibility, with olive trees, sun-kissed brick walls, a tranquil water feature and a towering fireplace. Opposite, a blackbutt deck affords all-season entertaining, with uninterrupted vistas stretching across the hinterland to the sea, showcasing the beauty of shifting skies or wildlife passing by.
The primary suite is a sanctuary of sensory immersion, where an exquisitely sculpted skylight carves through the ensuite ceiling, drawing the sky inward. Light cascades over micro cement walls, settling upon a freestanding tub and sandstone crazy-paved floor. Linen sheers soften the boundary between indoors and out, while bespoke grasscloth robes echo the home’s cohesive material palette.
A second living domain is spatially positioned for peaceful separation, comprising three additional robed bedrooms, and a home office, all complemented by an indulgent central bathroom.
Equally compelling, the surrounding 10-acre (approx) landscape unfolds into a wildflower meadow along with a flourishing orchard of apples, peaches, feijoas, almonds, and citrus. Approved plans and permits for a future tennis court and pool elevate the lifestyle credentials, while a large machinery shed with multiple roller doors, a dual garage, electric gates, irrigation, water tanks, a mud room, generous laundry, double glazing and reverse-cycle zoned heating and cooling ensure total comfort.
