Unfortunately for the buyers who had an offer accepted on this stunning home, the bank has let them down - unfortunate for them, fortunate for you! This original 1950's Maclean cottage has been beautifully restored to keep those fabulous features of homes of the era while graciously bringing it into 2022. The original hardwood timber floors that run throughout the home are a main feature and after years of being covered by old newspapers and lino they’re now being showcased and are in perfect condition. From the mottled glass double hung windows in the front bedrooms for privacy to the high ceilings throughout, the home has retained much of its character and charm while renovations have integrated modern day creature comforts such as ceiling fans, air conditioning and built in robes. The stunning kitchen and 2 elegant bathrooms are brand new with all of the modern conveniences you’d expect yet they blend seamlessly as they offer homage to the original cottage. Out back, there’s a generous north facing undercover deck, garden shed along with a double garage (both with power) AND a double carport. This fabulous home is situated an easy 400m flat walk to Maclean’s main street – a great, central location and buyers will be relieved to know the home was unaffected by the recent flood events. The charm and sense of community that Maclean offers and it’s proximity to pristine coastal beaches has long been known to locals but now word is now out so don’t hesitate to inspect this immaculate home as there can only be one very lucky buyer!
