KEEPSTONE ESTATE | A RARE COUNTRY LIFESTYLE RETREAT
Keepstone Estate is a high-quality rural sanctuary. Set across 7.5 acres of private, pristine countryside, it brings together abundant water, thriving wildlife, and beautifully established grounds with serious infrastructure and a substantial, carefully crafted country residence.
With a dramatic stone entrance, the home perched above a platypus dam features abundant bore water, an integrated fire system, solar power, multiple outbuildings and so much more.
Keepstone Estate presents a rare opportunity. It is not a project, and it is not an ordinary country home. This is a forever property delivering privacy, space, durability, and an enduring quality immersed in Tasmania's breathtaking countryside and its quintessential rural way of life.
Keepstone Estate, 1109 Railton Road, Kimberley, Tasmania, is a 7.5-acre sanctuary with water, wildlife, and world-class living. It is a fully manicured rural estate, beautifully finished and impeccably maintained.
The Estate is a rare rural retreat where privacy and nature combine to deliver something very special. You will awake to the birds singing, enjoy the sight of horses playing in the dam, and wind down in the evening as the local platypus moves quietly across the water.
You arrive at the country estate via a private, tree-lined driveway through an automatic security gate, immediately setting the tone for what lies beyond: total privacy, calm, and timeless appeal.
A striking first impression is created by an impressive 100-metre-plus rock wall, constructed from hundreds of tonnes of carefully selected stone. This dramatic feature dominates the entrance, guiding you across a long, sweeping driveway beside the wall, past beautifully crafted natural stone steps built directly into the rock work, and beyond an expansive turning circle with a sculptural centrepiece of rocks.
Throughout the grounds, a network of gentle meandering walks and bridges invites you to wander slowly through nature, surrounded by trees, birds, and open green spaces.
Set gently into its landscape, the home itself overlooks the dam and jetty and is surrounded by mature trees and lush green grounds; creating a seamless connection between the home and nature.
Inside offers genuine class and character, with solid timber flooring, raked ceilings, double-glazed windows, stone bench tops, expansive timber decks, and handmade mud-brick feature walls throughout.
The floorplan easily accommodates a large family, featuring 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 large living areas plus a mezzanine, a separate dining room, and a dedicated office. The home also includes gas cooking with granite benchtops, a wood heater, and fully integrated ducted floor heating/cooling with AnywAIR Technology, controllable from anywhere in the world, double glazing, full insulation and whole of house rainwater filtration with state-of-art UV sterilisation technology. An expansive covered entertaining deck provides the perfect space for year-round gatherings.
The layout gives a genuine choice. You can live entirely on the main level if you wish, or spread out across both floors for space, separation, and privacy.
