68 Kindra Avenue, Karana Downs QLD 4306

With a land size of almost three acres, this large property is a real find in a leafy, family friendly suburb. There's a delightful creek in one corner of the estate and an inground pool adjacent to the expansive terrace. The rendered brick home is very solid with buckets of privacy in a peaceful location. The single level home is well established in a flood free location amongst other acreage homes. What makes it a rarer find are the facilities for horses. There are multiple living areas and some great options for those working from home including a FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) internet connection. There's so many possibilities as the property provides good access without compromising the amazing bush outlook. The multiple living areas will impress including the lounge with a soaring cathedral timber ceiling and built in bar. The dining area is open plan with the kitchen and adjacent to the living room. There's also a sunroom which would make a fantastic reading nook and all these entertaining spaces open directly to outside. The very private rear of the home is dominated by a huge covered paved area overlooking the saltwater pool. The oversized pool includes a spa and paved surrounds offering even more space for entertaining. The centrally located kitchen has plenty of bench and storage space as well as a cooktop within the island bench. There's also a breakfast bar, generous walk-in pantry, dishwasher and wall oven amongst the features. The bedrooms are carpeted with fans and light floods into all of them. The fifth bedroom is configured to allow for two home offices to share the space if required. Another bedroom is perfectly positioned next to the main bedroom for use as a nursery while there is good separation from other bedrooms. The main bedroom features a sizeable walk-in robe and ensuite. The Granny Flat provides great flexibility with options including dual living, guest accommodation, teenage retreat, games room or perhaps as a large separate office for a home-based business. The building is air-conditioned and for dual living is configured with a living area (including a kitchenette), separate bedroom and ensuite. A former tennis court is now a 35 x 20 metre horse arena but the tennis court could be reinstalled if required. It is a great suburb to be a horse-owner with numerous local horse riding trails within a radius of a couple of kilometres. The local Pony Club is also nearby and the well-known Lions Trail has an entry off Kindra Avenue. If additional sheds or stables are required there are plenty of options on this hectare property. School buses either pass by the home or are just a short walk away. The local Karana Downs shopping centre is very handy while the popular Brisbane River Golf Club and Mount Crosby Bowls Club are also just a few minutes away. It's approximately 35 minutes from the centre of Brisbane, 15 minutes to the Ipswich CBD plus there's freeway access to the Gold or Sunshine Coasts as well as Toowoomba and western areas. If you've dreamt of a country lifestyle while working in the city, then you must consider this tremendous opportunity. For more information contact Ian Keenan at any time.
