Renovated with flair and an exacting attention to even the smallest detail, set high up the hill with captivating mountain views and perfectly surrounded by richly planted established gardens, this is a must see family property, in a dream location.
Stacking up on energy efficiency, the home during a vast renovation, was stripped back and thermally wrapped, then triple-glazed windows and external electronic shade blinds installed. A 5.5 EER for a home of this vintage demonstrates the effort and investment made to modernising the daily comfort. Meticulous detail is also highlighted with the kitchen, every draw, cupboard and the island bench mounted on casters for maximum flexibility for large gatherings, the non-uniform pattern of the handles, and the way that the sink is placed so that you enjoy the changing scenery from early snowfall dustings on the Brindabellas to the lush tree canopy filling in through Spring.
Sprawling over two levels, the home offers three living rooms, a formal den/ loungeroom, a big open informal living/ dining/ kitchen that spills onto the back deck, and a cosy teenage retreat downstairs. Vast and flexible spaces that all interact with the outdoors and cleverly segregate the four generous bedrooms, three full bathrooms.
Set on a generous 863sqm block on the high side, the home draws inspiration from mid-century architecture, expressed through material choice.
