Relax and unwind your mind and body. There's nothing to do except live your best life in this retreat style home.
Set directly opposite Grasstree Beach, this substantial double-brick residence offers approximately 610m² under roof, five bedrooms, two separate living areas, two expansive outdoor entertaining spaces, a 12.5-metre salt water swimming pool with an integrated Roman-style jet spa, and room for up to 5 vehicles.
A home of this scale and quality could cost close to $2.7 million to rebuild today, before allowing for the land, pool, established gardens and Esplanade position. It represents outstanding value.
This home gives you choices. Family and friends can stay without anyone feeling crowded, children and grandchildren can visit during the holidays, while everyone still has room and privacy of their own.
The downstairs level has its own beachfront entrance and is currently used as a large art studio and consulting space. Subject to any required approval, it could be adapted as guest accommodation, extended-family living, a home office, gym, media room, workshop, quiet retreat, granny flat, or a one- to two-bedroom apartment.
The main living areas are light, open and naturally connected to the outdoors. The renovated classical white kitchen sits at the heart of the home and flows onto the wide covered verandah. It’s where you can enjoy the sea breeze, entertain friends or simply relax and take in the soothing sound of the ocean and coastal birds.
The expansive front verandah overlooks Zelma Bay, while the custom teppanyaki bar makes outdoor entertaining relaxed and easy. The magnesium swimming pool and integrated spa complete the feeling of having your own private coastal resort at home.
