An impressive rural lifestyle property in the highly sought-after Grassmere district, combining a substantial modern family home with outstanding farm infrastructure – all built since 2017.
Perfectly positioned on an elevated site with sweeping rural views, the custom-designed 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom brick veneer homestead (c2017) offers a flexible floor plan ideal for family living.
A welcoming entrance foyer with large double doors flows into the spacious open-plan kitchen / living room featuring a freestanding wood heater and large windows framing the relaxing rural outlook to the north. Sliding doors open onto the wide verandah, providing access to the rear of the home.
The well-appointed kitchen features an island bench, stone benchtops and stainless steel appliances, including a gas cooktop and built-in dishwasher. The kitchen is supported by a large butler's pantry featuring a sink and built-in cabinetry.
The home features multiple living areas including a separate sitting room / TV room towards the front and a rumpus room or kids retreat, strategically positioned towards the rear alongside the bedrooms – all of which feature walk-in robes. A separate study or sixth bedroom adds further flexibility, whether working from home or an ideal nursery given its strategic position near the master bedroom suite.
The private master suite includes a generous walk-in robe and a fully tiled ensuite with walk-in shower, bath and double vanity. Bedroom two also features its own ensuite, making it ideal for guests. The family bathroom comprises a walk-in shower, bath and vanity, with an adjacent powder room for added convenience.
The large double garage offers both internal and external access, a remote-controlled door and additional storage options. A spacious laundry with stainless steel sink and built-in storage also provides external access, alongside a separate toilet. Extensive verandahs to both the front and rear of the home provide a relaxed country feel, whilst ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning (zoned) provides year-round comfort.
The home is surrounded by well-maintained lawns and established garden beds featuring a variety of bulbs, mature trees and shrubs, including an orchard with blood plum, apricot, nectarine, apple and pear trees. A small chook shed tucked within the gardens adds to the property's charm, whilst the circular driveway creates an inviting setting for guests and family.
Working improvements include a substantial all-steel Colorbond multi-purpose machinery shed / workshop (36m x 12m) featuring LED lighting and a shearing platform, plus cattle yards with ramp. Water is secured by a bore with submersible pump and extensive rainwater tanks. A solar powered system with battery storage also contributes to the property's eco-appeal. Well-subdivided into 10 paddocks, the holding features a formed gravelled laneway and established treed plantations, providing both privacy and valuable shelter and shade.
