Designed circa 1963 by Sydney modernist practice McCauley, Conran & Associates, the ‘Giffney / Bennett House’ is a remarkably intact and much-loved mid-century modern residence positioned within a secluded Middle Cove valley landscape. Held by the current custodians since 1965, the house retains a rare sense of architectural continuity, preserving both the spatial clarity and material warmth of the original design.
