A vision of Victorian elegance on the park is made doubly impressive by the outstanding 2-level façade of this remarkable 3 bedroom terrace where a spacious interior with a superbly modified layout reveals a private garden oasis and an oversized garage. Directly opposite and overlooking Capital City Trail parkland with a gracious heritage presence, this exceptional double-storey residence presents a rare opportunity that’s unusual for the street and certain to appeal to those seeking an outlook of greenery, extra-large accommodation and outdoor space to relax, enjoy and entertain. The grand profile gives way to a light-filled setting defined by refined period character with polished floorboards, stained-glass windows, open fireplaces and high decorative ceilings creating a warm and welcoming environment for peaceful inner-city living. First-floor proportions with 2 huge bedrooms are matched by a great-sized ground-floor bedroom, all with new carpet, as the floorplan unfolds from an entrance hall into a generous living room where a feature archway introduces an absolutely charming dining room. Complemented by a bright bathroom and a European laundry, both the fabulous kitchen and adjoining meals area open out through timber-framed doors to a wonderful side and rear sanctuary where paved areas amid leafy established garden create a secluded retreat, backed by a lock-up garage of almost 30 sqms. Set on a deep allotment in a highly-prized position, this distinctive home towering over the park is entirely unique and while immediately inviting and comfortable, offers scope if desired to improve and add immense value only moments to the North Fitzroy Village with its cafes, bakeries and shops, Piedimonte’s supermarket, Nicholson Street trams, Rushall station and local schools including the Deutsche Schule.
