Finch Hatton is a small rural township established in the early 1900’s, a quiet picturesque town and the gateway to the Finch Hatton Gorge, and Eungella National Park. Situated approximately 30 minutes from Marian and 63kms west of Mackay, Finch Hatton is home to the Gift Shed Cafe, Criterion Hotel, Finch Hatton Primary School, General Store and Post Office, Valley Rural Services and Fuel Station and a number of other artisan businesses. This property offers a unique opportunity for anyone interested in connecting with the Pioneer Valley Mountain Bike Trail, which is creating a great deal of interest in our beautiful valley.
The Pioneer Valley is becoming quite the destination for foodies and adventurers alike; from coffee and tasty delights at Vintage Kiss or The Whistle Stop cafe, workshops and dining at One Hungry Mumma to views for miles at the gorgeous Eungella Chalet and Cafe Eden. Then there’s forest flying, kayaking, bush walks and platypus viewing, cabins or camping if you want a mountain sleep over ... there really is so much our Pioneer Valley has to offer.
