26 Lawsons Road

Garden of Eden Welcome home to your sanctuary of earthly delights, No. 26 is set back from the very neighbourly community of Lawsons Road (how many streets can claim their own facebook group?) with privacy established by landscaping and mature planting at every turn. The sturdy 3 bedroom brick home with tiled roof is as maintained and tidy an offering as one could hope for. A deep blue front door opens to a light and bright interior palette that softens and soothes as you move through the main living areas which include a sitting room, lounge room with wood fired heater and open plan kitchen with dining area and study space. There is a serenity to each of the bedrooms especially the master with robe and ensuite enjoying the most delicious view of the front garden. The absolute joy of this property is that from every living space the outdoor creativity can be feasted on through the floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. To the front, a stunning rock wall retains colourful garden beds and the temptation of the central courtyard with lush ferns set in multi-levelled decking will continually lure you outside to commune with nature. And all this is merely a prelude to the main alfresco. A short meander and the landscape opens up to lawn, and beyond; a garden terrace reminiscent of a visit to a Diggers Club garden. With a magnificent arbor as centrepiece and incorporating raised vegetable garden beds, espalier and columnar fruiting trees (6 varieties of apples and a nashi pear) alongside crafted bench seats and the most impressive outdoor dining table. This is a space for long summer days that drift into balmy evenings entertaining family and friends. Tend to your produce and enjoy the fruits of your labour while looking out onto bird-attracting planting with not another soul in sight. On further exploration back towards the house we find more fruits trees - apple, citrus and fig, a shed and a kitchen courtyard with herb garden perfect for some summer shade. The front area provides ample parking with the large double carport and additional parking spots plus shedding. If it's a peaceful, homely, creative, self-sustainable life you are seeking set in a caring neighbourhood within a wider supportive community then come take a bite of the apple of Emerald.
