Privately nestled amid the natural beauty of the hills, this exceptional 9.6-acre property offers a rare opportunity to embrace a lifestyle of space, serenity and seclusion, complemented by sweeping north-facing valley views and convenient access to Melbourne.
At its heart stands an architecturally designed, award-winning, solar-efficient residence, thoughtfully positioned to capture the surrounding landscape, with garden views from virtually every window. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms plus powder room, a dedicated spa room and expansive verandas create a home of character and distinction, perfectly suited to those seeking a connection with nature without compromising on comfort.
Adding remarkable versatility is a separate two-bedroom farm managers cottage, featuring a bathroom, generous open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, and a large rear veranda overlooking the gardens. Offering a wealth of possibilities for extended family, guest accommodation or multi-generational living, this additional residence enhances the property's appeal.
The grounds are equally impressive, with approximately four acres of manicured lawns framed by an established collection of trees and plants including Japanese Maples, Magnolias, Dogwood, Paulownia, Hornbeams and a beautiful Horizontal Hawthorne. A fully enclosed orchard is home to an abundance of fruit trees and berries, while a second open orchard features an extensive variety of citrus, pomegranates, hazelnuts and walnuts. Beyond the gardens, three prime pasture paddocks extend towards Menzies Creek, providing space for animals, hobby farming or simply enjoying the freedom of country living.
A substantial, newly built Colorbond multi-purpose shed sits alongside the forest boundary, offering excellent versatility for storage, hobbies, equipment or workshop use. The property is further enhanced by deep, rich mountain soil and a landscape that invites a more self-sufficient and rewarding way of life.
Despite its peaceful setting and complete privacy, the property remains remarkably accessible. Entry is via a sealed road adorned with tree ferns, while the nearest arterial road is just a two-minute drive away, providing an approximate 45-minute off-peak journey to the heart of Melbourne.
With no visible neighbours, expansive valley views and 9.6 acres of established gardens, productive orchards, open paddocks and natural surrounds, this is a truly special offering for those seeking a lifestyle defined by space, privacy and possibility.
