7 Woollybutt Lane

Purchased new in 1989 and offered to the market for the first time in 37 years, Woollybutt 7 represents a rare opportunity to secure a tightly held apartment within one of Dinner Plain's most admired developments. The Woollybutt complex has long set the benchmark for innovative alpine design, seamlessly blending with the distinctive Dinner Plain aesthetic both inside and out. As with most Woollybutt apartments, the long-term ownership of Woollybutt 7 speaks volumes about the enduring quality of the development. Privately positioned at the rear of the complex, the apartment enjoys a peaceful, idyllic setting overlooking a picturesque internal reserve dotted with majestic Snowgums - a magical outlook year-round and particularly enchanting in winter. The apartment is cleverly designed with soaring ceilings and a light-filled, open-plan kitchen and dining area centred around a feature potbelly wood fire. Built-in daybeds enhance the living space, creating a warm and inviting retreat after a day exploring the High Country. The ground-floor living and entertaining area opens directly onto the internal reserve, providing a safe, traffic-free space for children to play. The mid-level features a bunk room with integrated storage, leading to the main bedroom and a spectacular loft showcasing the signature exposed rafters for which Dinner Plain is renowned. Comfortably accommodating up to six guests, the apartment also includes a generous entry with a full walk-in ski storage room, a large central bathroom with internal laundry facilities, a separate powder room, and a dedicated car space. Superbly located within the heart of Dinner Plain, the Woollybutt complex is surrounded by key village amenities including Hotel High Plains, Club Wyndham, and the bus stop to the Mt Hotham ski fields. It is just moments from the Cobungra Platter - Dinner Plain's own ski run - as well as extensive mountain biking, walking, and cross-country skiing trails.
