Northern Rivers Property Group  presents Sage and Thyme This stunning airy Queenslander is over 100 years old thought to be one of the shops of the original 600 acre sugar plantation established in 1869. The properties were built of fine timbers growing on the plantation such as cedar, teak, rosewood and beech. You can feel the soul, history and workmanship of this property the minute you walk through the timber french doors and up the beckoning staircase. Completely renovated this house has such a warmth and character, the fragrant smells of the garden waft through the french doors with hints of fresh  thyme and underlying notes of the pacific ocean. The kitchen is the heart of the home with caramel timber and cookbooks strewn across the benchtop. The pans are ready to be filled with the freshly picked tomatoes from the veggie garden a herb filled bolognaise on the menu. It’s all about the vibe and the location with this one. With a relaxed ambience and a teenagers retreat downstairs there’s plenty of room for the extended family this is your peaceful retreat just minutes to the trendy northern rivers township of Kingscliff with its array of funky eateries and some of the best beaches in Australia…this one needs to be felt to be appreciated..
