Set across 3,100sqm (approx.) of established grounds behind sandstone walls and wrought iron gates, 'Linstarfield' is a landmark estate of rare distinction. Positioned on Enderley Road bordering the blue-ribbon enclave of Ascot and Clayfield, this exceptional residence is just 10 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD and international airport. This residence is one of the finest examples of Queensland Federation architecture, defined by grand proportions, deep verandahs and a timeless presence. An extensive program of meticulous renovation and conservation has preserved its original character while introducing unrivalled luxury. Outdoors, the estate is arranged around a resort-like pool and terrace laid by stonemasons in Toowoomba sandstone, complete with a grand woodfire oven and serving bays. The beautifully landscaped and lit grounds with expansive private lawns and mature, sculpted hedging, are perfectly suited to both grand garden parties and relaxed family afternoons. A masterplan for the property includes a designated site for a championship tennis court. Interiors reveal rich timber floors and joinery, intricate lead lighting, a magnificent domed ceiling and period fireplaces, each lovingly revived with a commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship and enduring quality. The residence unfolds across three vast levels, offering a variety of formal and casual living spaces complemented by two full kitchens, making entertaining on any scale effortless. The verandahs frame the home and provide an ambient setting for outdoor dining. Five bedrooms are led by the master suite, secluded on the top floor with a dressing room and an opulent marble ensuite with bath. A charming self-contained cottage, which originally served as staff quarters, provides flexibility for guests, teenagers or extended family. The lower level is devoted entirely to recreation, with a custom designed home theatre, gymnasium, sauna, steam room and sandstone wine cellar with a tasting room. Three separate double garages, one with internal access to the main residence, ensure complete privacy and convenience. Enderley Road is widely regarded as one of Brisbane’s most prestigious streets, lined with stately historic homes on generous parcels of land. Leading schools including St Margaret’s, Clayfield College and St Rita’s are close by, along with picturesque parkland, the newly transformed Eagle Farm Racecourse and the village cafés of Racecourse Road. The Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Byron Bay are all within easy reach. This is a rare opportunity to secure one of Brisbane’s finest residences within minutes of the city.
