Experience beachside grandeur on a lavish scale, this top level mansion-style apartment strikes a beautiful balance between contemporary living and captivating period style. ‘Park House’ was built in the 1840’s as the seaside manor of Brighton’s founder, Henry Dendy. This significant property retains the glamour and proportions of a bygone era alongside today’s modern comforts.
Nestled within estate-like grounds in a blue chip cul de sac just footsteps to Brighton’s famous foreshore with its iconic Bathing Boxes, walking/cycling tracks and beachfront on your doorstep. Light-filled and luxurious, exquisite leadlights frame mesmerising aspects at every turn, even boasting a view of the bay from the magnificent master’s western window.
A grand, wood paneled entry foyer is large enough to double as a stylish work from home or study space. Ornate ceilings adorn a vast living room (reverse cycle air conditioning) looking out to manicured gardens, while an open plan dining and kitchen area captures the sun as it rises and sets over Brighton. Sleek stone benchtops, shimmering glass splashbacks and quality stainless steel appliances enhance the apartment’s crisp white interiors with contemporary style.
Evoking images of old Hollywood, an oversized bedroom flaunts gorgeous ceiling details, two sets of built-in robes and arched alcoves with leadlight windows looking across the garden to the bay. An elegant, Terrazzo bathroom embodies its seaside location with a seafoam colour palette and ocean themed stained glass. A decadent bath and pedestal basin complete the charm.
Enjoy private residents’ access to a highly maintained, formal garden ideal for outdoor entertaining plus a single automatic garage with entry via Manor Street. Located only a short walk to the Middle Brighton Baths and Yacht Club as well as Church Street shopping, dining, cinema and public transport.
