Although now in need of some repairs and maintenance the Bradvale State School is a building steeped in history, closing in 1977 after being relocated on site from nearby Staffordshire Reef in 1932 where it had also served as the local state school between 1887 and 1926. Situated on the original 2 acre school site the land is mainly cleared with frontages to Crawfords Road & Mount Bute Road - both sealed with mains power passing. In 1961 the school grounds were further improved with the installation of a toilet block, septic and bore water. While definitely not a project for the faint hearted there is enormous potential to return this historic building to its former glory.
