4 Barkala Road, Bayview

Turnkey Elevated Private Architectural Sanctuary Privately immersed within a magnificent treetop setting, this architecturally designed residence has undergone a recent comprehensive renovation and the result is an exceptional turnkey home combining bold contemporary architecture, sophisticated interiors and complete privacy across approximately one acre. A soaring five-metre skillion roofline creates an impressive architectural statement, complemented by expansive galleries of glass, louvred windows and wraparound decks that draw natural light and lush greenery into every room. Natural sandstone anchors the home within its landscape, while two ancient pink angophoras provide a dramatic frame. Inside, travertine stone, warm timber and bespoke walnut joinery soften the strength of the home's steel, concrete and Colorbond construction. Freshly painted throughout, the interiors feel bright, refined and distinctly modern. The versatile two-level layout provides excellent separation for families. A spacious lower-level rumpus and lounge creates an ideal children's or teenage retreat, while an additional rumpus or home office on the main level offers valuable flexibility. Designed for effortless entertaining, the striking kitchen features new appliances, a custom wine rack and integrated bar fridge. Living spaces extend naturally to the surrounding decks and landscaped gardens, where an 11-metre heated lap pool forms the centrepiece of the outdoor setting. The beautifully appointed bathrooms continue the home's sophisticated material palette, featuring custom walnut joinery, organic white Caesarstone vanities, ceramic basins, marine-grade stainless-steel tapware and heated towel rails. The private master suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with laundry chute. The entirely native gardens showcase an impressive collection of established grass trees and complement the property's sandstone landscape. Beyond the home, approximately 3,000sqm of sustainably cleared private bushland offers walking trails through subtropical forest, striking rock formations and tranquil waterways-a rare natural playground to explore. Positioned high within the exclusive Barkala Eco Estate-an enclave of just 17 acreage holdings-the property feels remarkably secluded yet remains exceptionally convenient. Keoride's on-demand service stops at the door and connects directly with the B-Line, while St Luke's Grammar School's Bayview Campus is only 0.9km away. Mona Vale village is approximately 3km from home, with Pittwater's foreshore, yacht clubs and waterside dining also within easy reach.
