Let’s be honest, with a one bedroom apartment you’re really buying three things: location, layout and outlook. Apartment 2406 doesn’t just tick the outlook box, it owns it. Sitting on level 24 of VUE on King William, just two floors from the top of one of Adelaide’s most recognisable residential towers, this west facing apartment looks out over the city and parklands with nothing in the way. Floor to ceiling glass floods the open plan kitchen and living area with light, and as the day winds down, the sun sets right in front of you. Step through the sliding doors onto your private balcony and you’ve got the best seat in the house every single evening. The kitchen does exactly what it should, with an oven, gas cooktop and built in dishwasher. The bedroom has a built in robe and the bathroom is neat and practical. Here’s what sets it apart from most one bedroom apartments: a separate study. Work from home, set up a reading corner, or simply have a spot for the laptop that isn’t the dining table. VUE itself stands 26 storeys tall and still turns heads with its all glass exterior and subtle sculptural twist. Residents enjoy secure swipe access with video intercom, a heated outdoor pool, gym and BBQ terrace, plus your own secure car park. Then there’s the location. The tram stops right outside the front door, the Central Market and Gouger Street dining are an easy walk away, and the South Parklands and Veale Gardens are close by for weekend walks. Whether you’re an owner occupier wanting a lock and leave city base, a first home buyer getting a foot in the door, or an investor after a proven building with strong tenant appeal, this one deserves a serious look. Apartments this high, facing this way, don’t come up often. Disclaimer: All floor plans, photos and text are for illustration purposes only and are not intended to be part of any contract.
